Studio Notes
Sometimes life swallows you up and you find yourself drowning in mothering and responsibilities. You close your studio door for the night, only to open it a month later.
Sometimes you have to say goodbye to old friends and welcome new ones. After nineteen years it was difficult to let George go (left), but the introduction of eight-week-old Hiro has softened the blow (right).
Sometimes you have a million ideas in your head, an exhibition deadline, and little faith in the process and yourself.
But you gather your supplies. You get in the studio. And you start to experiment.
