“Our Autumn Retreat Scholarship recipient is the amazing artist Christina Lowry. Christina Lowry is a practicing photographer, multimedia artist and mother of three. She studied at Queensland College of Art graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts/ Visual Arts. She has been featured in solo exhibitions at Logan Art Gallery, Tuggeranong Art Space, Redlands Art Gallery and Woolloongabba Art Gallery. She returned to study in 2023 and is currently working towards her Masters of Visual Arts.” Muse + Maker Creative Retreats

I am so excited to be a scholarship recipient for the Autumn Muse + Maker retreat in Robertson, NSW. The three day event includes Rebel Stiches with Paul Yore, Mundane Poetry with Maggie Hensel Brown, Repeating Circles with Zanny Begg, and The Reciprocity of Collaboration with Liam Benson.

Through my practice I have learnt many interesting process’s, from carving wax to pinning insects, binding books, taxidermy, crochet and knitting, and I am keen to expand my skills, knowledge and network at this retreat.
