Artist Residency - Maroochy Wetlands

I squealed when I received an email congratulating me on my successful application for an artist residency at Maroochy Wetlands on the Sunshine Coast!

Over 12 days in June and July I will be working with the community of visitors to develop an installation for exhibition at Logan Art Gallery in July, creating porcelain bird skulls.

I will be researching vulnerable and endangered birds in the area, with a particular focus on endemic and migratory species. Excitingly, my research coincides with a seasonal bird survey.
